LST Worker Overage Funds Request

Occassionally LST Workers have funds remaining in their LST fundraising account/page.  This can occur because they raised funds above their fundraising goal, they dropped from their project, or their project was deferred.

LST's policy on the use of these funds follows IRS guidelines and gives Workers flexibility in their use but only via a formal request (this form).  The request must be made annually.

By December 15, any unused Worker funds will be released to LST unless the Worker submits this form.  Those funds will then become unavailable to the Worker.

This request form may be filled out at any point until December 15.  Forms submitted after this date will not be considered, and all funds in that Worker account will be released to LST.

Please choose one option from the choices below.

Note:

• #1 releases your overage to LST and immediatly empowers life-changing conversations around the world. This is an excellent use of donated funds if you are not going again within the next year or two.
• #2 gives you a jump start on going next year. No holdover fee will apply. To choose this option you must apply to go on an LST Project by December 15.
• #3 allows you to use overage to help a specific Worker go next year. It must be a Worker whom you know and who has already applied to go.
• #4 enables you to keep your overage until you go again. A holdover fee will apply every year. You must have more than $300 in overage to choose this option. If you do not plan on going again for 2-3 years we encourage you to consider the other options above first.
