Dear Family & Friends,

This July our whole family aims to go on a short-term mission trip to Poland! We are going through Let’s Start Talking (LST), a ministry that gives us the opportunity to share our faith, one-on-one, with people interested in learning English by reading the Bible. We are already preparing and will complete eight weeks of training before we go. Missionaries on every continent ask LST to send short-term workers to help in this way. It opens doors and helps the church grow. We have been asked to serve in Łódź (pronounced WOODG), Poland and will be there the last two weeks of July!

This is our family's second mission trip to Poland. Since our first trip in 2018, our whole family has been eager to return to deepen friendships, meet new readers and encourage the church as it grows there in Łódź. We are grateful LST can put each of our family members to work—not only Suzy and me but also our three daughters. By the time we go Kezia will be 17, Eden 15 and Jordan 12! During our trip, we will focus on two things: sharing Jesus and sharing ourselves. As our readers come each day to learn better English by reading the Bible, we will help them and share the story of Christ with them, too. This will be a natural way for us to share our faith as we share our heart language with people eager to learn. We will have the opportunity to build many friendships and show the difference Christ is making in our lives.

Through years of experience sending short-term mission teams, LST knows how to keep costs low. The funds we raise will help cover airfare, lodging, food and training and are as follows:

Our goal is to raise at least half this total by May 10 in order to purchase our airline tickets at the lowest price possible. To make this trip we need partners who will pray and give.
