Dear Friends,

Thank you so much for your generous support of our Hanoi Let’s Start Talking project. I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate your kind words of encouragement, likes, loves, prayers, and dollars.  We have been working toward our time in Hanoi.  Tickets purchased, visas in hand, Global Entry status approved, and much lesson planning.  We already know our schedules for the entire 2 weeks are full.  Woohoo!  Don’t kmow what I’m talking about? No worries. In April, 3 teammates and I will spend 2 weeks in Hanoi, Vietnam on a Let’s Start Talking mission project. For almost 40 years, Let’s Start Talking has been using scripture to help others learn or improve their English language skills. Four of us - Don Box,  Ron Holland, Mike Bell & I - make up the team going to Hanoi.

This is the 1st LST team to visit Vietnam. God has opened the door and we are thrilled at the certainty of many interesting discussions as we use the Gospel of Luke for our language studies.

So, thank you for partnering with us in bringing Jesus to the people of Hanoi.  We will be working close to one of Hanoi’s universities.  We already know our class rosters are full of people anxious to improve their English and maybe even hungry to learn about Jesus. 

You can still support LST efforts  LST provides training, logistical support, site support, and the connection of readers to mission churches in their community.  My fundraising goal for this project has been met, but there are numerous workers on other projects still raising support.

Thank you, also, for your continued prayers for safe travel and an effective 2 weeks in Hanoi.
