Hello there!

Welcome to my fundraising page! This is Diana, and I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to go on a mission with Let's Start Talking this summer. Since graduating from the University of Texas at Austin in 2022, I have been working at Heartflow, a medical technology company that focuses on diagnostic tools for cardiovascular disease, while staying actively involved with my church groups, LifeFamily and Longhorns for Christ (LFC). This summer, I’ll be part of a team from LFC traveling to Murcia, Spain, where we’ll help people improve their English by reading the Book of Luke. Our mission is to engage with the community, share the message of the gospel, and connect with people in meaningful ways. I’m especially excited because I get to serve alongside some incredible team members: Anna Jo, a sophomore theater major, and my brother Leo, a senior Public Health major -- both of whom are interns at LFC. I would be so honored to have your support in this journey. Thank you for being part of this mission with me!

What is Let's Start Talking?

LST’s goal isn’t just to send people on mission trips. The goal is to serve the long-term work of mission sites by being a partner. LST projects support this long-term work of mission sites by sending well-prepared teams who focus on one task – building bridges into the community through English conversation practice. We'll be connecting with people right from the community of the hosting mission church and helping them practice English by utilizing the LST approach and materials. I can't wait to start my LST journey, but I can't do it without your help!

As I prepare for this life-changing experience, I am reaching out to family, friends, and supporters like you to invite you to partner in this work with me. Please be praying for me and my team in the coming months. My cost for this mission is $4,400 to cover travel, meals, and the necessary resources for the work we will be doing; your support is crucial! Your contribution will play a vital role in enabling me to participate and more importantly, help spread the hope and love of Jesus Christ! :)

ABOUT 2025 LST Projects

Let's Start Talking equips Christians to create life-changing conversations across the street and around the world. Taking advantage of the global desire for English as well as the innate desire we all share for connection and community, LST Workers offer English-conversation practice in a comfortable, non-confrontational setting. Scripture forms the basis of each conversation, and friendships surface naturally.

To participate in a mission project this year I have committed to raise funds for LST. This money is used to fund the recruiting, development, and support of all LST team members, as well as travel and project costs. Please give generously today and be a part of my team! And please pray for me and for my teammates that everything we do will bring glory to God.
